Services
Initial Consultation
90 minutes
During the first treatment with a new client, we will review health history and create a plan based on information provided, clinician assessment, as well as desired health goals.
This appointment includes acupuncture and other services that the client may benefit from, such as:
Cupping
Gua Sha
Tuina (massage)
Electrical stimulation
Heat therapy
Each client will leave with a plan for frequency of treatments as well as dietary and lifestyle recommendations based on a Traditional Chinese Medicine approach to living in balance with nature and their constitution.
Acupuncture
60 minutes
Acupuncture is performed by inserting very thin needles into various points throughout the entire body. Each point carries out a specific action and is chosen based on an individual’s symptoms as well as their body constitution. The acu-points are located along meridians, or pathways, that travel throughout the skin’s surface and are associated with corresponding internal organs and body systems. This treatment is usually painless and leads to a sensation of balance and relaxation followed by feeling recharged and rejuvenated.
Acupuncture and Cupping
75 minutes
Add cupping to any acupuncture service to enhance blood flow, reduce muscle pain and tension, relieve fascial adhesions, promote mobility, and improve lymph circulation. Gua sha, or scraping along the skin surface using a smooth-edged tool, may also be used alongside cupping to provide similar results.
Facial Microneedling
60 minutes
Microneedling is a minimally invasive therapy to smooth and re-texturize the skin. This procedure uses tiny needles to puncture the skin and stimulate collagen and elastin production. Only high-quality products are used in this session to ensure safe and noticeable enhancements in complexion.
(Upon request, acupuncture needles will be placed in other parts of the body throughout the procedure to provide a more relaxing and holistic experience for the client.)
Those that do not meet the criteria for microneedling can ask about facial acupuncture or facial gua sha to reduce wrinkles, fine lines, and puffiness. Since microneedling can only be done every 4 weeks, facial acupuncture and gua sha are effective ways of maintaining progress and enhancing results in between microneedling sessions.
